Food With Purpose Series: What Are You Craving?

Zhuna (pronounced “juna”) is one of our Roots chefs creating the scratch-made, farm-fresh, zero waste meals available in the Café & Deli.
She is also the owner of Farmacopoeia, a private chef and nourishment consultation business. Farmacopoeia’s “food with purpose” approach integrates nutrition, nourishment and the cultural aspects of food to offer food-as-medicine education and services. Zhuna has worked and studied in Idaho, China, Mexico and most recently on the island of Maui where she was immersed in projects that support regenerative agriculture and the relationships between health care, culture and local food systems.
